Making a Purchase

Please make all cheques (or postal orders) payable to "Swimming Teachers' Association". We accept all major credit/debit cards.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Online Shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Shopping Basket" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment - Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

Colours

Colours of goods are as shown. Manufacturers supplies may be subject to change.

Bulk Order Discount for 'Awards'

Awards Discounts will be shown in the Total Order

Based on Net 'Awards' Total the folowing Bulk Discounts apply:
* Net Awards Total over £200.00 and up to £750.00 - 4%
* Net Awards Total over £750.00 and up to £1500.00 - 8%
* Net Awards Total over £1500.00 - 15%

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION

For Delivery in the UK
The prices quoted exclude carriage charges which are shown below and must be added to all UK orders. These charges may vary if goods are sent directly from the manufacturer.

Shipping charges for all products are as follows:
* £5.00 for orders up to the value of £50.00
* £7.50 for orders between £51.00 and £149.00
* £10.00 for orders over £150.00

For Delivery outside the UK
A delivery surcharge will be applied dependent upon location. Please contact STA for P & P Costs.

Delivery Schedule

In accordance with our BSEN ISO 9001: 1994 accreditation, we will process all orders by the end of the working day following receipt of your order. Orders will be delivered, usually by courier within a further 48 hours. If items area temporarily out of stock we will advise you. Certain special items will not be carried in stock. The manufacturer will deliver these direct.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. Some items are exempt from VAT (Awards) and others Zero Rated VAT.

VAT on Training Equipment
Resuscitation and training equipment purchased by a charity is free of VAT. Please contact us for details on price reductions. Our VAT number is 696 0380 11.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

If for any reason the goods ordered do not meet with your satisfaction, simply return them, unused within 14 days and we will issue a refund for the goods returned. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that swimwear is delicate and should be rinsed in cold water immediately after use in a chlorinated pool. Always follow the manufacturers instructions.

Privacy Policy

The STA do not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

Data collected by this site is used to:

• Take and fulfill customer orders
• Administer and enhance the site and service
• Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Return Policy

When returning goods, please send goods unused, in the original box within 14 days. Mark your parcel 'Swim & Save' and clearly state your reason for the return on a copy of the original invoice sent with your order. All returns will be subject to an administration fee.

Exchange Policy

The STA will exchange/credit account, for Badges, Certificates and catalogue items on the following basis:

• They are returned within 3 months of purchase.
• They are current awards (Badges & Certificates only) both syllabus and Presidential signature.
• They are new, unused and in perfect condition.
• The customer returns a copy of the Invoice/Despatch note relating to the returned items.
• The customer agrees to pay an administration fee of 25% of the current value of the items being exchanged.
• The customer pays the postage for the return of the items.

Alternatively if the customer wishes to have a credit put to their account this will also be subject to an admin fee of 25%.
